WMS Primavera Eye Peak Dashboard BI in Warehouse Management – Work in progress
The last decades have shown an increase in companies’ demand for knowledge and information, for example for the implementation of successful strategies, customer satisfaction, continuous improvement of processes, product innovation and organizational performance measurement.
Thus, organizations have started to invest in tools that allow using existing data in companies and transform them into relevant and useful information for decision-making, allowing the organizations to be more competitive and flexible, which are very important success’ factors in today’s economy.
With this said, this thesis presents a dashboard that contains key performance indicators in order to allow any warehouse manager to quickly analyze their business. This dashboard will be developed using a Business Intelligence (BI) tool called Power BI and based on data recorded in Eye Peak, a Warehouse Management System (WMS) widely used in Portugal, product of Primavera’s Portfolio. This WMS is used by MAEIL’s clients, for which this work will be developed.
