Imform – Import Management Platform
The area of transports and logistics has enormous importance in the world’s economy. The complexity’s degree of the various processes that involve it is high.
Within this processes we can find prospecting, negotiation, transport and documentation, among others. All these processes necessarily involve two entities, which represent the origin and destination of an international transport, in other words, an entity that exports a product and another that imports the same product. The complexity and competitiveness of this process means that nowadays it is necessary to have an effective way of managing the import process in the eyes of the importer, which does not happen.
The main objective of this project is to develop a prototype of an online management platform for import processes that allows the importing entity to manage and have a global view of the entire transport process, that is, from the moment it acquires certain goods from the exporter until the moment that the importer receives it at his premises.
